Jenny: Were you scared in Vietnam?

Gump: Yes. Well, I don't know. Sometimes it would stop raining long enough for the stars to come out. And then it was nice. It was like just before the sun goes to bed down on the bayou. There was always a million sparkles on the water. Like that mountain lake. It was so clear, Jenny, it looked like there were two skies, one on top of the other. And then in the desert, when the sun comes up, I couldn't tell where heaven stopped and the earth began. It was so beautiful.

Jenny: I wish I could've been there with you.

Gump: Yes, you were.

這是電影阿甘正傳裡我喜愛的一段，面對著病入膏肓的珍妮，阿甘在床邊陪伴著，並且聊著自己過去的一些的經歷，當珍妮說出自己多麼希望那些時候能在他身邊時，阿甘的那句"Yes, you were"顯得那麼的篤定那麼自然，好像珍妮一直從來都未曾離開過他心中一般。

我想，所謂的愛情，大概就是這樣吧。
